Die Zahl der Toten nach der verheerenden Sturzflut im Himalaya ist in Nepal nach offiziellen Angaben auf mindestens 903 gestiegen. Mindestens 4.247 weitere Menschen würden vermisst, gab die Katastrophenschutzbehörde an. In der Region Tibet kamen nach Angaben chinesischer Staatsmedien vom Sonntag mindestens 16 Menschen ums Leben, 546 weitere Menschen würden dort vermisst. Damit stieg die Gesamtzahl der Toten auf 919, insgesamt mindestens 4.793 Menschen werden demnach vermisst.
