Mit einem Besuch in Metz unweit der deutsch-französischen Grenze beendet Papst Leo XIV. an diesem Montag seinen viertägigen Frankreich-Besuch. In der Stadt will er eine Europa-Rede halten. Dazu hat Frankreichs Präsident Emmanuel Macron auch andere europäische Staats- und Regierungschefs eingeladen. Am Nachmittag steht in der Kathedrale von Metz ein Gottesdienst auf dem Programm.
