Auch Ägypten soll Israel vor Hamas-Gefahr gewarnt haben
Kurz vor dem Terrorüberfall am 7. Oktober 2023 soll auch Ägypten Israel vor der Gefahr eines großen Angriffs der Hamas gewarnt haben. Das berichtet das US-Magazin "The Atlantic" unter Berufung auf Regierungsvertreter in Israel, Ägypten und weiteren arabischen Ländern sowie auf Vertreter in den USA und Europa. Weniger als zwei Wochen vor dem 7. Oktober reiste Ägyptens Geheimdienstchef Abbas Kamel demnach nach Israel und warnte vor einer Hamas-Attacke.
