Regierungstruppen und mit ihnen verbündete Milizen liefern sich mit den Huthi-Rebellen schwere Kämpfe um die ölreiche Provinz Marib im Jemen. Bei den Gefechten seien in den vergangenen drei Tagen mehr als 50 Huthi-Kämpfer getötet worden, hieß es aus Militärkreisen. Laut Augenzeugen kam es dort zu gegenseitigem Artilleriefeuer, Geländegewinne konnte allerdings keine der Konfliktparteien erzielen.
