30 Leichen nach Brand auf philippinischer Fähre gefunden

Nach dem Brand auf einer Fähre in einer beliebten Touristenregion der Philippinen sind Behördenangaben zufolge mindestens 30 Leichen an Bord entdeckt worden. Dabei handle es sich um eine "erste Zählung", teilte die philippinische Küstenwache am Freitag mit. Es sei mit der Bergung und Überführung der Körper begonnen worden. Das Feuer auf der "MV June Aster" war am Mittwochabend nahe der im Westen des Landes gelegenen Provinz Palawan ausgebrochen.
