Israel will im Rahmen der Verhandlungen mit dem Libanon fünf libanesische Staatsbürger freilassen. Diese seien von der israelischen Armee im Südlibanon festgenommen worden, teilte das Büro des Ministerpräsidenten Benjamin Netanyahu mit. Angesichts umfangreicher Maßnahmen, die sowohl von libanesischer als auch von israelischer Seite ergriffen worden seien, um im Libanon Leichen von Mitgliedern der jüdischen Gemeinde im Land zu suchen, sei die Freilassung beschlossen worden.
