Oberstes US-Gericht erlaubt Weiterbau von Trumps Ballsaal
Der Oberste Gerichtshof der USA hat den Weiterbau des umstrittenen Ballsaals von Präsident Donald Trump am Weißen Haus bis auf Weiteres erlaubt. Eine knappe Mehrheit von fünf konservativen Richtern entschied am Montag, dass die Regierung gute Aussichten habe, eine Klage der Denkmalschutzorganisation National Trust for Historic Preservation gegen das Projekt abweisen zu lassen. Das Gericht betonte, damit nicht über die Rechtmäßigkeit des Bauvorhabens entschieden zu haben.
