Verlängerung von Iran-Einsatz untragbar? Pentagon dementiert
Das US-Verteidigungsministerium hat einen Medienbericht teilweise dementiert, wonach mehrere hochrangige US-Militärs vor einer Verlängerung des US-Einsatzes gegen den Iran gewarnt haben. "Vieles davon ist schlichtweg falsch", schrieb Pentagon-Sprecher Sean Parnell auf X. Er betonte, dass die Veröffentlichung streng geheimer Lageberichte ein "Verbrechen" sei. In einem Statement sagte Parnell, dass der Artikel "ein schlecht recherchierter Bericht voller Ungenauigkeiten" sei.
