Bei der Umbildung seines Kabinetts bekommt US-Präsident Donald Trump aus der eigenen Partei Gegenwind im Senat. Trump, der seinen früheren persönlichen Anwalt Todd Blanche zum Justizminister machen will, erwägt bei andauernder Kritik deshalb, die Nominierung vorerst zurückzuziehen. Das schrieb der Republikaner auf Truth Social. Es wäre ein taktischer Schritt mit dem Ziel, perspektivisch eine andere Ausgangslage für die Abstimmung zu der Personalie im Senat zu schaffen.
