So viele Masern-Fälle in USA wie seit 35 Jahren nicht mehr
Die Zahl der Maserninfektionen in den USA ist auf den höchsten Stand seit Jahrzehnten gestiegen. Mehr als 2.300 Fälle in 45 US-Staaten sind in diesem Jahr bereits dokumentiert, wie aus Zahlen der Gesundheitsbehörde CDC und der Johns-Hopkins-Universität in Baltimore hervorgeht. Das sind den Daten zufolge bereits mehr als im gesamten Jahr 2025. Damals waren es laut CDC 2.289 Fälle gewesen - und schon das waren mehr als in den Jahrzehnten zuvor.
