Der Klimt-Auktionsrekord von 88 Millionen Dollar für "Adele Bloch-Bauer II" im Jahr 2006 ist gefallen. Gustav Klimts Gemälde "Buchenwald" (Birkenwald) erzielte am Mittwoch in New York rund 104,6 Millionen Dollar (102,7 Millionen Euro).
